SHELINA ROSE

Shelina Rose: A Dynamic Vocalist, Songwriter, Musical Arranger, and Performer

Redefining musical boundaries with a voice that defies categorization, Shelina Rose has captivated audiences worldwide with her electrifying performances and genre-bending style. She has toured extensively throughout the U.S., Central and South America, and the Caribbean.

Shelina's artistic journey began in the 1980s as a member of the renowned group led by Belkys Concepción, founder of Las Chicas del Can. She has shared the stage with iconic artists and performed at prestigious venues, including the Knight Center and Madison Square Garden. Her subsequent work with popular female groups Ángela y Su Fuerza Femenina and Charo y el Grupo Chabelly  further solidified her reputation as a versatile and captivating performer.

As a songwriter, Shelina has been crafting music since her teenage years, earning album credits and accolades along the way, writing in both English and Spanish. The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) has recognized her as “a writer to look out for.” Her former manager, John Tovar, praised her talents, stating, “Shelina Rose is not just a great performer who deserves to share the stage with Mick and the boys, but she’s a very good songwriter as well.”

Shelina's career has been marked by numerous accolades, including chart-topping dance singles and a Premio Estrella award for “Song of the Year,” which she performed at the Knight Center in Miami. Her debut album, No Te Aguanto Una Más, received widespread critical acclaim, with songs produced by Grammy-winning producer Janina Rosado.

After years of non-stop performing, Shelina took a hiatus to focus on self-discovery and artistic growth. Now, she’s back and ready to share her music with the world, unapologetically embracing her unique voice and style.

She truly is the unforgettable Shelina Rose.
